What an amazing painting by Charles Hoffman of how the combined now Upper Schuylkill Valley Park and Parkhouse Farm Lands looked in the late 1800's. It amazes me how the area has had minimal changes over the past 153+ years. What a shame to think this could be all gone because of one greedy developer who came from Maryland and has no connection to our community.
